I just received an email about a writing contest for fiction and poetry at Sycamore Review, but they charge a reading fee. What do you think about this? Writers have enough trouble getting our work out there and earning even a small amount, so is it worth paying a reader? Perhaps it depends on the prize--$1000, $500?
